The Sukau Enclave

Tucked away along the winding Kinabatangan River in Sukau, the Borneo Nature Lodge (2) is the newest addition to our eco-lodge family a place where rustic charm meets the rhythm of the rainforest. Construction began in November 2024 and is set for completion in December 2025. The lodge will feature 15 cozy chalets comprising 12 twin-sharing rooms and 3 king-bed bedrooms, along with a spacious air-conditioned restaurant that can host up to 45 guests, a welcoming office and a charming gift shop.

Blending modern innovation with natural materials, the lodge is built using a combination of the Emme due (M2) panel system and locally sourced bamboo. This thoughtful mix brings together strength and sustainability the Emme due system ensures durability and energy efficiency, while bamboo adds a warm, organic touch that connects the structure to its surroundings. The result is a lodge that stands in harmony with the Kinabatangan's natural landscape, reflecting our ongoing commitment to eco-friendly and sustainable tourism in the heart of Borneo.
